The VF contactless reader reads Transponder according to ISO / IEC 14443A (Mifare 1k, Mifare 4k, UltraLight, DesFire etc.) contactless and is available in several versions. RFID media can be held against it from the front. After the reading process, a successful reading is signaled by the integrated LED. Communication with the reader takes place via the serial interface or optionally via the network. The compact, robust design and the low weight of the reader enable it to be installed in any type of housing or terminal, both indoors and outdoors. Typical applications are: access control, traffic control, billing and dispatch systems.
